A combat rescue training exercise took pl\ce at Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Westhampton Beach, New York in early May. The 106th Rescue Wing (RQW) participated in the exercise along with crews from the 102nd Rescue Squadron (RQS), which operates HC-130J Combat King Il search and rescue aircraft, the 101st RQS, which flies HH-60W Jolly Green II rescue helicopters and pararescuemen from the 103rd RQS, intelligence analysts, and communications specialists from the 106th Operations Group were also involved in the drills on May 3, 2025.
