China Bearing Industry Association (CBIA) is a national organization founded in 1988.CBIA members are voluntarily composed of bearing and its components enterprises as well as research institutes, designing institutes, universities and related industry enterprises, unrestricted by the area and department. CBIA is a social and economic community with legal personality and authorized by Ministry of Civil Affairs of Peoples¡¯s Republic of China.
222 members of CBIA spread most of the provinces and cities in China, concentrating the mainly bearing enterprises, which sales value is more than 70% of the total bearing industry. China bearing industry has made great achievements since the reform and opening to the outside world. The total sales of bearings reached 92 billion Yuan and output reached 11 billion sets in 2009.There are more than 70,000 kinds of bearings from 0.207mm inner diameter to 6.2m outer diameter, from the general to high precision grade. The export output reached 3.39 billion sets and export value reaches 2.97 billion US dollars in 2008.The bearing is one of the most competitive products to earning foreign exchange in China machinery industry.
The aim of CBIA is to represent and protect the interests, to unite the capacity and promote the development of the whole industry, to actively work as the bridge, the link, the assistant, the media organization, among the government, member units and users at home and abroad.
The main task of CBIA is to investigate and research the present situation and developing direction, to report the suggestions and claim to the government, to accept the appointment of the government to give suggestions about the developing plan of the industry and technology economic policy ,to organize the experience exchange of enterprises reformation, management, technology, quality, economy etc, to build the statistical information network, to collect, analyze and issue the technical and economical information, enhance staff education and training, to spread the use of innovative technology, to hold the domestic and international bearing exhibitions for economic and technical exchange both at home and abroad, to use various methods of service to foster the advancement of China bearing industry.
The standing office of CBIA is located in Beijing, which is responsible for coordinating the work among committees, and set up an Information Department inside. CBIA sets up five branches according to demand, Development Planning and Consultation Committee, Technology Committee, Enterprise Management Committee, Human Resource and Staff Education Committee and Price Committee. In addition, CBIA set up two non-standing organizations Brand Promotion Committee and Anti-counterfeiting Committee. In 2005, CBIA officially registered two companies, Beijing Zhongzhouxie Information Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.and CBIA (Beijing) Exhibition Co., Ltd. China Bearing Industry Website is the only official website sponsored by CBIA. Also CBIA has periodical publications such as Bearing Industry, Bearing Association Development, Bearing Trade Information, Bearing Industry Trends and China Bearing Information Newspaper.
Following the policy of opening to the outside world, CBIA cordially established the connections and friendly relationships with organizations of bearing and related industry all over the world, and also developed exchanges and cooperation in various forms.
The purpose of the exhibition is to furnish a stage for the domestic and overseas companies, enterprises and customers. As the organizer of this exhibition, CBIA would like to express the cordial welcome to all the guests, exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
