Chapter I. General Provisions

Article 1: Name of organization: China Bearing Industry Association (“CBIA” for short).

Article 2: Nature of CBIA: It is a community organization voluntarily made up of manufacturing enterprises and public institutions from the bearing sector as well as relevant organizations from other related sectors without restriction as to region, sector and ownership. It is a non-profit social economic organization and a national social group legal person whose registration has been approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Article 3: Purpose of CBIA: Holding high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and great thought of the "Three Represents" thought, adhering to the basic line and programs of the Communist Party of China, observing the Constitution, laws, regulations and social code of ethics, implementing state policies; providing two-way services to members, enterprises, bearing industry and the government, representing and safeguarding the common interest of the bearing industry and the legitimate rights and interests of members; serving as the bridge of communication between the government and enterprises, assisting the government in carrying out industrial services; getting the bearing industry united, promoting the revitalization and development of the bearing industry and making contributions to building a society of relative affluence in an all-round manner.

Article 4: CBIA accepts the direction, administration and supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council which is the governing authority for businesses and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China which is the administration authority for organization registration. CBIA also accepts the management and supervision of China Machinery Industry Federation.

Article 5: The domicile of CBIA is in Beijing
