Xiangtan Mayor Meets with Timken Asia-Pacific Senior President Roger W. Lindsay On Feb. 24, Wu Qixiu, the Deputy Secretary of CPC and the Mayor of Xiangtan City met with the delegation led by Mr. Roger W. Lindsay, the Senior President of Asia-Pacific of The Timken Company at XEMC Group. This visit is to further strengthen strategic cooperation in strategic emerging industries with XEMC. Wu Qixiu has warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his thanks to The Timken Company chose Xiangtan City, cooperated with XEMC and jointly established Hara XEMC Windpower Co., Ltd, built up the largest wind power bearings manufacturer in China. Mr. Roger W. Lindsay indicated they will enhance the strategic cooperation with XEMC, widely supply the power transmission solutions in new energy industries to meet the demand of renewable energy in the 21st century.
